About Matcha+
Hi, I’m Tadhg, the founder of Matcha+.
I started Matcha+ because I was sick of processed protein snacks that currently flood the market and I wanted a high protein snack that actually felt good to eat, something clean, functional and satisfying, without loads of sugar or unnecessary ingredients.
Matcha has always stood out to me for its calm, steady energy and focus. It is the core of Matcha+, but it is not the only thing I am building around. I am gradually incorporating other carefully selected superfoods, each chosen for a clear purpose, whether that is energy, recovery, focus or overall wellbeing.
By pairing ceremonial grade matcha and other functional superfoods with high quality protein and fibre, I set out to create snacks that support training, busy days and everyday balance, without the crash.
Every batch of Matcha+ is made in small batches in Ireland, with a strong focus on ingredient quality, taste and consistency. I am hands on with every part of the process, from recipe development to production.
Matcha+ is still growing, but the goal is simple and staying that way, functional food that earns its place in your routine.
